Plagued Disease character ref: Thunder

Gender: male

Personality: likes to boast about achievements, but doesn't overdue it. Is incredibly composed around cats with "issues" (*cough cough* Mink..) and around infected. Lacks high level thought, but is a very good problem solver. Carefree when alone or with trusted cats. Very huffy and prideful when around enemies or other cats. Doesn't usually take no as an answer. Doesn't enjoy arguing, but will fight back if necessary.

Description: small gray tom with darker and lighter gray stripes. Green eyes. Missing a couple claws on left paw due to excessive climbing and running.

Backstory: Thunder had a good family, with human kids to play with and his parents who loved him endlessly, until his dad, Brently, was killed by a rabid dog while protecting one of the human children, but wounding the beast's throat enough to bleed it out. His mom, Maxine, lost the will to live and refused to eat anything, matter how hard Thunder tried. Eventually the owners took her to the vet and she was treated. She was okay until the plague, not being able to run as fast to keep up with her son while fleeing infected humans, and Thunder watched as his mom was bitten and tossed like a ragdoll over the human's shoulder, landing in an unnatural position. He ran away and ended up barely getting by in the back alleys of the city for a few months.

Family:
Father: Brently, deceased. Killed by rabid dog.
Mother: Maxine, supposedly killed by humans, or became infected.

Professions: speed and quick thinking. Strength is limited, as he is still a young cat.

Relations:
Mink is his accomplice through the city, and is feared by him

Rp sample: panting, he spun around to check on his mother's progress. "Almost there!" he yowled encouragingly as she limped her way around the fencing, infected humans a ways behind. "Uff.." she grunted as her leg gave way and she stumbled into a hedge. The yells and screeching of the infected grew steadily louder. "Come on, mom!" he encouraged heavily. Maxine picked up her pace considerably, right as the humans rounded the fenced corner."MOM!!" Thunder screeched in horror. One of the humans spotted her, and ran after her with a gurgle of triumph, scooping her up and biting her in the shoulder, only to spit out a mouthful of fur and throw her away. She hit the fence behind the freak and landed hard, paws and legs twisted and splayed. Thunder stood for a moment, not believing his eyes, then ran faster than if his life depended on it, which it did. He clambered up another fence, only to run into a ragged looking, large brown tom...
